Family, Level 2- Capture Moments

WHY
‘Moments’ really are what it’s all about. Harness them, keep them close, make them easily accessible and create great ones. Not only organize your past, but decide what moments you want to capture!
This step could be considered ‘organized picture taking.’ I’ll almost agree, except, this little bit of organization makes a big difference, just like with finances/health and even life. Once your system is in place, you can relax and enjoy more; while stressing less. Let’s lay-out your ‘picture’ plan so it doesn’t seem like a hassle, but fun and a part of a rewarding life. Many families do this already, just haven’t thought of it as a ‘Balanced Success’ strategy, put thought into it and know as you are doing it, you are strengthening your families bond. You may already have this done with technology these days, if not, here you go. Follow our (or a similar) system and clear up this daunting task and make it more fun and rewarding.
If you have your books or slideshows organized, great. Move on to the second half of this step, which is just to fill out the ‘Next Years Moments’ sheet. This sheet will just bring to the surface what you wish you would have captured before and what you want to capture. Plus, what does capturing these moments mean to you. Make it important or it is easy to forget. This step also isn’t about going crazy and taking a thousand annoying pictures, but creating a nice organized timeline of important moments in your and your loved ones lives.
So this is the step to take a look back and organize the memories in an easy to review manner. Once they are in place and in the order you want them, you can focus on capturing current moments and the creation of future ones with better clarity. We will break down some steps for those of you with that have pictures not organized in a shoebox etc. These steps will just give you a checklist to do, break it down for you so it is manageable and you will see the progress.
