The Rhythm of a business could be a weekly meeting with bigger monthly meeting, reports and guidelines.  For a sport team; it is practice, group meetings and games with the end in mind being to win a championship at a certain date.  The Owners, Executive CEO’s must be on the same page to prevent failure.  If left unchecked, unknowingly, things can fall apart or efficiency decreases.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;95% of families treat themselves as an unsuccessful organization and therefore end up in disarray, unfocused, frustrated and non-optimized.  Even if thy are not divorced, they are simply not functioning at a good to excellent level; but mediocre to poor!  Small problems become bigger in this environment.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;So here is how you do it.  First, be serious!  It’s your life, no one else’s.  Do you want to pretend everything is great and go on being confused and having spouts with your spouse because you are not working together and on the same page?   Second, schedule these in your book just like a business appointment!  Third, make them fun.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Have a mission: your own personal life mission, a mission as a couple and create a mission as a family.  Here is one: to continually balance and improve the mind, body, family, society and finances.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Then, in each category; have a sheet of paper that will very briefly act as a guide that you fill out for each of these ‘fun meetings’ and file them.  Momentum will build.  For instance, have a simple ‘fun family financial meeting’ sheet that reviews account balances, weak points, and goals etc. Then, work with your spouse on accepting wherever you are and making continual progress.  For the ‘moments’ sheet, see if there are any moments you captured in the last three months and what moments might be coming up.  Make fun moments to capture and write what to do down.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Family Strategy Session Rhythm&lt;br/&gt;Moments to capture/create (Jan, July).  Less than 1 hour each.&lt;br/&gt;Quarterly Finances (Jan, April, July, October).  Less than 1 hour each.&lt;br/&gt;Parent Full Annual Financial Review (December).  One hour.&lt;br/&gt;Kids Finances  (Jan, April, July, October).  15 minutes.&lt;br/&gt;Total Time; 8 hours per year (out of 8,760 hours per year)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;It’ crazier to not do this, than to do it.  What is at stake if you don’t?  (Frustration and lower quality of life).&lt;br/&gt;</description>
